We began the day eating breakfast in the dining hall where GG lives. All of the older ladies and gentlemen were so excited to see a young toddler there. They were all turning their heads, and GG just ate it up. Cooper was not too excited about eating breakfast though. Breakfast was at 8 a.m., but it was actually 7 a.m. Coopers time. He is a lot like his daddy when it comes to eating when he first wakes up. He just doesn't do it.
Today was the day we went to the beach. Cooper loved walking on the sand. When he saw the water, he ran to get his feet wet. We had to put his little body suit on him and we took off. He loved the waves. The harder the better. I thought he would be upset when a wave knocked him down, but actually he got back up and was ready for another one. Once he got tired of the water, he realized how much fun playing with his beach toys were and throwing sand on our towels we laid out.
This was such a good day. I saw a new look in Coopers eyes and face I had never seen before. The look of excitement and exploration on his face was thrilling for me.
