Happy New Year 2008!!!!

Happy New Year!!! We did not stay up until midnight, but we sure did party up until it was time for bed. We had a wonderful time playing with our party favors. Cooper shocked us when it was time to go to bed and looked at his Daddy and said, "Happy New Year Dadda". We had not prompted him to say Happy New Year. It just sounded so sweet when he said it. Cameron and I just looked at each other with tears in our eyes. I think 2008 will be a good year for us.

Just Chillin

I always get nervous when Cooper is quiet because I know he is usually doing something he shouldn't be doing. This time he proved me wrong (WHEW!). He was just chillin while we were preparing for our New Years Eve dinner and celebration. For dinner he had shrimp and corn on the cobb. I have never seen a child put away shrimp the way Cooper did tonight. We couldn't give it to him fast enough. He just shoved it in as fast as we were peeling it. What a fun night! In the picture you see him holding my sock monkey from when I was little. He got two for Christmas, but he just loves snuggling with mine.
