4 Alarm Fire

Cooper always has a wonderful time playing at his cousins house. He loves playing with Collins, Connor, and Carter in their huge playroom. They have the neatest toys ever. One thing Cooper loves to play with is their firetruck. They even have a helmet to go with it. It is always hard to get Cooper to leave when it is time to go. Fun is always had at Uncle Rob and Aunt Cindy's!!!

Easter Egg Hunt

On you mark...Get Set....GO!!!!!!! Go Cooper Go! That is exactly what Cooper did. He ran. He chased. He ran right past the eggs. Cameron and I had to refocus our little bunny right back to the eggs and show him he is supposed to pick the eggs up and put them into his basket. By the end of our hunt, Cooper did get the hang of the egg hunt and had a good share of eggs. He should be really good at it next Easter.

Papa and the Amazing Technicolor Grey Coat...

Papa brought out a coat which he had worn when he was about Boo's age. Cooper tried on the coat and it was a perfect fit. Once we finally got Cooper to put on the coat and pants, he would not take it off. I enjoyed watching Cooper play in this, and imagining Papa at this age. I wonder if he was as active as Cooper is now, and just as mischievous.

Now I lay me down to sleep....

Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep. If I should die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take. Cooper was so worn out with the Easter festivities he had to put his head down for a moment. I was just lucky to have my camera availabe to take this shot. This was such a busy day with the Easter Bunny coming, going to church, a big feast with his family, and then playing hard with his cousins.

Sliding

Jump, Jump, Jump

Carter's Birthday

Cooper went to another birthday party this weekend. He went to his Carter's 4th birthday party. This was an inflatable party. At first he was not too sure about the jumping and sliding. He felt secure with the riding toys. After watching for a few minutes, he experimented with the inflatables. His Nina kept saying "Are you watching Cooper" worried he may get hurt. After following Cooper around from one inflatable to another, I finally told Nina " It isn't Cooper I am worried about. It is the other children around Cooper I am concerned about." Once Cooper figured out what to do with each inflatable he would pass anyone who was in his way. He was a spiderman crawling up those slides. He was so fast. He was faster than some of the 5 and 6 year olds. He played so hard there, he fell asleep almost instantly when we got in the car.

La La La La La Luke's World

Cooper went to Luke's second birthday party. Did he ever have fun!!! He had so much fun playing in the garage with the other little boys and girls. He also had fun playing with their collection of trains. It is always more fun to play with someone elses toys. When Luke was opening his presents, Cooper decided to help open them. I had to keep taking him away to let that poor child open his presents in peace. Since it was an Elmo party, Luke received several Elmo things. When he lifted one gift up for everyone to see, someone said "What is that Luke?" and Cooper yelled out "Underwear". That is what we call his diapers. They have Elmo on them, so when we ask him to go get a new diaper we say "Go get a new Elmo". The things that come out of their mouths. Of course I had to explain why he was yelling "Underwear" out loud.

Look Mom It Snowed

Cooper was so excited when he saw the snow start falling Friday night. He would yell out "Look Mamma- Snow!!!" He was excited getting dressed to go out in the snow, but as soon as we got out there, he wasn't too sure about it. But, once he was out there for a while, he was getting the hang of it.

Don't Eat The Yellow Snow

Cooper was excited about eating the snow this morning. I just told him to make sure is was white snow, not yellow.

My Grandfather Fred

I am sad to say my grandfather, Fred Collins died early this morning. His passing was very unexpected. It has been a very sad day at our house. My mom found these pictures and thought she would repost these to remember him by. Fred loved baseball, and he felt it was appropriate to buy Cooper a Louisville Slugger baseball bat and to show him how to hold it. That was the last time we saw him. We will always treasure that day. We love you Fred.
