My First Airplane Trip

The flight to Chicago was definatly an adventure. Cameron and I had not flown since our honeymoon eleven years ago. There had been so many changes in checking in. This time we had Cooper with us. From the moment we were on the airplane, Cooper was filled with excitement. The people around us had this "Oh No, Not a Toddler" look. We sat down and Cooper was thrilled to look out the window to see the wing of our plane. When we started to take off Cooper's eyes just grew big and said, "What Was That??" The flight was an hour long. During that time, Cooper enjoyed a coloring book and a pair of wings from the flight attendant. He also enjoyed his peanuts and coke snack. As we were flying, Cooper had his first experience of turbulance due to the stormy weather we were flying through. I was a little green, but Cooper had a ball. After it was finished, he said "Do that again!" I was so amazed at how well he behaved on the flight. He didn't want to get off the plane when we landed. I was surprised he wanted to go again.
And for those people who gave us a look when we got on the plane....well, they walked by Cooper and patted him on the head and smiled. Whew we made it.
Now for the ride back.....we are still not talking about it. LOL
